57 DEGREES NORTH: HUTS IN PLACE
Sunday, July 16, 2017
12pm - 4pm
Abriachan Forest Classroom, IV3 8LB

TICKETS (FREE)

Northscape has erected a temporary show hut in Abriachan Forest for the festival. Come along and visit our show hut, learn about the hutting movement in Scotland and find out what you need to consider if you are planning a hut build. Short talks and demonstrations will take place throughout the afternoon with Karen Grant of Reforesting Scotland's Thousand Huts Campaign, Lesley Riddoch and consultant ecologist Dr Emily Hesling.

With thanks to Wild Gorse Studio in Inverness, the show hut will feature stunning pieces from local artists, makers and designers.

Families are welcome to come along to enjoy the event THE FOREST VILLAGE running concurrently.

The Architecture Fringe is an independent contributor-led series with over 50 events taking place across Scotland exploring architecture and how it makes a difference to our lives.
Sponsored by Northscape under the banner 57 DEGREES NORTH, 4 events will take place in the Highlands on the weekend of 15 – 16 July 2017.
